About Sherwood & Forbes

Hello, I'm Emma Sherwood-Forbes.

I'm a San Francisco-based graphic designer with 5 years of experience creating the design behind award-winning products and interfaces. I aim to use my design to make the world a more interesting and inspiring place, and love the intellectual and aesthetic work it takes to create great work.

I fell in love with in design while taking a typography class at Wesleyan University. I graduated with a degree in Philosophy, but knew early on that I was most interested in applying what I'd learned in a different way. I have always been fascinated by how people think, what they want, and what they find beautiful, and in design I found a wonderful medium for exploring this.

These days, I can be found as a Senior User Experience Designer at Momentum Design Lab. In my spare time I work on a variety of personal and professional side projects and enjoy all the great people, places and food that the Bay Area has to offer.
